Joey is a nationally-published author in the field of career management. His works include A Vision for the College Placement Center published by Praeger Publishers in Westport Connecticut. He also has authored an article that appeared in The National Business Employment Weekly, a publication of The Wall Street Journal.

Building upon an MBA in Human Resources, he has developed and presented dozens of career and job search seminars and assisted clients with resume and interview preparation. For six years Joey was a career advisor with the University of Georgia Career Planning and Placement Center where he worked with alumni and students from a wide range of disciplines and professions. Joey works with Biology students at the University of Georgia Division of Biological Sciences providing career consultations in the biomedical, health, and biotechnology.

He also has relevant experience with careers in government, small business, higher education, NGO's, social activism, health and wellness, scientific, engineering, and manufacturing. He has worked with clients ranging from college students to experienced executives as well as career changers.
